SHREVEPORT, La. – The LSU Shreveport women's soccer team tamed the Jarvis Christian Bulldogs in Red River Athletic Conference action on Saturday afternoon at The Swamp by a final score of 9-0. The Pilots improve to 3-5-2 on the season and 2-3 in the league while the Bulldogs fall to 0-10 and 0-5 in the RRAC.

• The Pilots have now won two games in a row this week and have outscored their opponents 14-0 during the streak.

"Today our ladies turned things around from the first half and they put a lot of effort forward in the second half," said LSUS Head Coach Ashley Holland. "All around this was a great team effort. Kati-Jayde stepped up and helped lead the team. We had great goals from Kati-Jayde, Elizabeth, Mason, Aliza, and Natalie. And it was very special to see Charly and Jennifer score their first collegiate goals of their career. The team worked hard and earned the win. We have to give it to Jarvis for fighting until the final whistle."

Kati-Jayde Cunningham (JR/Stonewall, Louisiana) led the team with 12 shots and had five on goal including her second hat-trick in as many games. Thursday against Texas College she netted four of the Pilots' five goals and today she scored three of their nine. Today she also added an assist.

Natalie Bianco (JR/Guernsey, England) took a total of eight shots, three on goal including one that found the back of the net.

Mason Richardson (JR/Forney, Texas) scored a goal and took a total of six shots, four on goal and she had two assists.

Elizabeth Cobar (JR/Garland, Texas) scored one goal and had four shots on goal and six total.

Charly Upchurch (FR/Keithville, Louisiana) ripped off three shots and found the frame three times and one went in the back of the net.

Haley Burke (JR/Forney, Texas) took two shots and both were on goal while one shot of two from Aliza Mendoza found the back of the net.

Jennifer Condie (FR/Bossier City, Louisiana) scored her goal of a penalty kick and took a total of two shots.

Karolyn Hasler (FR/Chandler, Arizona) earned her third shutout of the season in goal for the Pilots.

• Cunningham scored her first two unassisted goals during the 4th and 16th minutes of the contest to put the Pilots on top 2-0.

Alex Guzman (JR/Mesquite, Texas) dished out an assist to Mendoza who scored the third goal of the afternoon during the 44th minute just before halftime.

• Richardson and Cunningham put together some crisp passes to Upchurch who netted the 4th goal of the afternoon for the home squad in the game's 54th minute.

• Richardson scored an unassisted goal a minute later to extend the lead to 5-0.

• Richardson again delivered an on-point pass to Cobar who scored the 6th goal of the afternoon in the 73rd minute.

• Cunningham finished off her hat-trick performance on a pass from Condie in the 80th minute.

Savannah Guigneaux (JR/Kaufman, Texas) recorded an assists on the 7th goal of the day as Bianco sent it to the back of the net in the 83rd minute.

• Condie added the final goal of the afternoon on a penalty kick in the 85th minute.

• The Pilots dominated the shot totals (41-1) and on goal (22-0).

• LSUS took a total of eight corner kicks while Jarvis did not get a chance to kick from the corner flag.

• The foul count ended with Jarvis committing 11 fouls while LSUS had three.

• at Wiley College on Saturday (Oct. 14) at 1 p.m.
