SHREVEPORT, La. – The LSU Shreveport men's soccer team crushed the visiting Jarvis Christian Bulldogs 10-0 on Saturday afternoon at The Swamp in Red River Athletic Conference action. The Pilots improve to 8-4 on the year and 2-3 in the RRAC while the Bulldogs slip to 0-9 and 0-5 in the league.

"After a rough day Thursday, the boys came out and worked hard and played well together," said LSUS Head Coach Phillip Bohn. "It's always tricky to play a shorthanded team. I thought the boys performed well against a very hard working and determined group from Jarvis. I respect Jarvis' resolve and spirit."

TOP PERFORMERS
• Everyone but two had at least one shot as Robbie Bruce led the way with seven shots as he had four on goal including three in the back of the net for the hat-trick and he had four assists.

Daniel Maierhofler (FR/Bendigo, Austrailia) made plenty of opportunities up top as he took six shots and had three on goal and he scored two goals. Pedro Natalini (FR/Sao Paulo, Brazil), Daniel Meza (JR/Fontana, California) and Oliver Foran (FR/Brisbane, Austrailia) each took four shots while Andres Carrasquilla (SO/Bogota, California) and Jevanni Hinkson (FR/Trinidad, Trinidad & Tobago) each ripped three shots.

• The Pilots dished out a total of 12 assists as a team: Carrasquilla, Lucas Las Casas (SO/Belo Horizonte, Brazil) and J. P. Mendes Santos (JR/Brasilia, Brazil) each dished out two assists. Hinkson and Foran both had an assists on the day.

• Adding goals were Hinkson, Meza, Niklas Schell (FR/Nuremberg, Germany) along with Foran.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• The Pilots took a little bit to get going but their first goal came in the 8th minute of the contest as Bruce delivered his first assist of the game with Hinkson scoring the goal.

• The next two goals came in the 20th and 23rd minute with Maierhofler scoring his two goals of the game with assists from Mendes Santos on the first and Hinkson and Mendes Santos on the second.

• Las Casas scored during the 30th minute with Bruce again providing the assists.

• Bruce got in on the scoring action during the 32nd minute with an assist from Carrasquilla to give the Pilots a 5-0 lead.

• Meza scored during the 52nd minute with an assist again from Carrasquilla.

• Bruce scored the next two goals of the game during the 62nd and 65th minute with Las Casas providing the assist of both goals.

• Foran scored during the 82nd minute with Bruce providing the assist while Niklas Schell added the final goal of the day with Foran and Bruce providing the assist during the 86th minute.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
• The Pilots outshot the Bulldogs 37-0 and on goal 16-0.

• LSUS took five corner kicks while the visitors did not take a corner kick.

• The foul count was close but minimal as the Pilots committed five and Jarvis three.

• The Pilots were offside 12 times.
