TEXARKANA, Tex. – The Texas A&M-Texarkana Eagles played nearly double the players the Pilots had available for tonight's Red River Athletic Conference showdown as the Eagles prevailed by a final tally of 2-0. TAMUT improves to 8-5 on the season and 3-2 in the league while the Pilots fall to 3-6-2 and 2-4 in the Red River.

FROM THE COACH
"This was a tough loss," said LSUS Head Coach Ashley Holland. "Our girls played fantastic, our back line was solid but can only do so much. Karolyn did amazing in goal and kept us in the game. The girls did well from start to finish and didn't give up. If we continue to play like that we will get the results we want."

TOP PERFORMERS
Mason Richardson (JR/Forney, Texas), Kati-Jayde Cunningham (JR/Stonewall, Louisiana), Natalie Bianco (JR/Guernsey, England) and Elizabeth Cobar (JR/Garland, Texas) were the only ones to manage a shot but all four were on goal.

Karolyn Hasler (FR/Chandler, Arizona) made 21 impressive saves in 90 minutes of action.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Eagles outshot the Pilots 21-3 in the first half but the score remained tied at zero at the break.

TAMUT scored their first goal of the evening during the 61st minute on an unassisted goal from April Rodriguez only to be followed by a Mia Armenta goal during the 78th minute.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
TAMUT dominated in total shots (42-4) and on goal (26-2).

The Pilots collected 24 saves to TAMUT's four.

The Eagles took a total of six corner kicks compared to LSUS' one and the Eagles were off side twice.
