2015: Redshirted.

FRESHMAN (2014): made 17 appearances including one start for the Pilots…logged 28.2 innings was 2-0, 3.45 ERA…picked up his first collegiate win on April 11 against Huston-Tillotson when he faced six batters in 1.1 innings of work…struck out a season high of three on April 26 helping the Pilots to claim the regular season title with a win over runner-up Jarvis Christian.

PREVIOUS SCHOOL: spent the fall of 2013 at Miami Dade Community College with Coach Danny Price before transferring to LSUS for the 2014 spring semester.

HIGH SCHOOL: lettered three seasons for Coach Jorge Miranda and the Coral Gables Jaguars…hit .350 or better in all three varsity seasons…recorded eight saves and a 19.00 strikeouts per nine innings during his senior year.

PERSONAL: Born Brandon M. Texiera on April 21, 1993, in Coral Springs, Florida…goes by Tex…son of Marc and Sandy Texiera…has one brother, Andrew (19)…has one sister, Viviana (8)…Business Management major with a target graduation date in 2017…plans to pursue a career in professional baseball or sports management.
