JUNIOR (2016-17): played in 24 games and started in 23 for the Pilots…team leader in scoring (17.1) and second in rebounding (8.5)…led the team in blocks (28), steals (51) and had 36 assists…shot 53-percent from the field which ranks 8th in the NAIA…scored double digits in all but two games…recorded eight double-doubles…scored her season high of 34 points against Huston-Tillotson…grabbed a season high 15 rebounds against LSU Alexandria…had four assists against LSU Alexandria and Our Lady of the Lake…blocked four shots against Texas College…had seven steals against Paul Quinn.

SOPHOMORE (2014-15): Started and netted double figures in all 32 games for the Pilots…led the NAIA with 25 double-doubles…Scored 20 or more points in 22 games…NAIA rankings: 2nd with 22.5 ppg, 2nd with 719 points scored, 3rd with 4.8 offensive rebounds per game, 3rd with 11.8 total rebounds per game, 4th with 379 total rebounds, 5th with 7 defensive rebounds per game, 9th with 53-percent field goal percentage, and 17th with 1.7 blocks per game…Season high 37 points against LSU Alexandria…Season high 18 rebounds against Jarvis Christian and Texas College…Recorded a triple-double with 20 points, 14 rebounds, and a season high of 10 assists against Paul Quinn.

FRESHMAN (2013-14):  Averaged 7.7 ppg and 5.3 rpg for Coach Brooke Stoehr at Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana…one of two freshmen to play in every game (34) that season…broke into the freshman all-time scoring (16th), rebounds (6th), assists (15th), and blocks (11th)…had 12 double-doubles, including a season-long streak of three to finish out the regular season…had three double-figure rebounding games: Savannah State, North Dakota State, and Incarnate Word…had nine rebounds at Lamar, Houston Baptist and against Abilene Christian…season high 17 points against Abilene Christian, also season high seven field goals made (7-10)…season high six assists in a 24 team-assist outburst at Southeastern Louisiana.

HIGH SCHOOL:  lettered four seasons for Coach Steve McDowell and helped Louisiana powerhouse Southwood to four-straight state finals with one championship, in her senior year... led the Lady Cowboys to a 31-1 record her senior season, averaged 15.2 points, 6.5 boards, and 3.0 steals a game with a 48.5 field goal percentage...voted all-district all four straight years... state tournament most valuable player... named Athlete of Week twice... named All-State and all-city… graduated with a 4.0 and was on the honor roll… member of the Spanish club and the Beta Club.

PERSONAL: Born Kourtney Pennywell on October 25, 1994, in Shreveport, Louisiana…goes by K. P…daughter of Kathryn and Vernon Pennywell…has two brothers: James Anderson (20) and Vernon Pennywell (15)…has one sister, Vernesia Pennywell (24)…majoring in General Studies with a concentration in Applied Science and has a target graduation date in May 2017…after graduation she plans to work for Google, invest in business or maybe own her own business.
