LSUS Athletics Celebrates Academic Excellence with Spring 2026 AD Honor Roll

SHREVEPORT, La. -- For the 14th consecutive semester, LSU Shreveport Athletics posted a department-wide GPA above a 3.0, as the Pilots recorded a 3.01 GPA for the 2025-26 academic year.

Five of LSU Shreveport's seven varsity programs achieved a combined Fall/Spring GPA above a 3.0, while six of the department's 10 teams, including club sports, surpassed the mark during the academic year.

A total of 62 percent of LSUS student-athletes earned above a 3.0 GPA for the Fall and Spring semesters combined, with 14 student-athletes posting a perfect 4.0 GPA.

"Our student-athletes continue to raise the standard both academically and athletically," said LSUS Athletics Director Lucas Morgan. "I'm incredibly proud of the commitment they've shown in the classroom, highlighted by our 14th consecutive semester above a 3.0 GPA. This speaks volumes about the culture our coaches and student-athletes have built."

Leading the department academically was the LSUS women's volleyball team with a 3.72 GPA. Men's soccer followed with a 3.46 GPA, while women's basketball posted a 3.37 GPA. Women's tennis recorded a 3.24 GPA, and women's soccer rounded out the top five with a 3.21 GPA.
