JUNIOR (2018): started five games and appeared out of the bullpen eight times..was 3-2 with a 6.50 ERA...logged 36 innings allowing 37 hits, 35 runs (26 earned) with 14 walks and 36 strikeouts....his longest outing of the year was seven innings against William Carey in the NAIA Opening Round on May 15...he recorded his seaosn high of six strikeouts on April 17 against Southern Arkansas.

SOPHOMORE (2017): appeared in ten games for Coach Keith Case, Ryne Tutor, and Chris McGraw at Wharton County Junior College… went 0-2 with a 6.17 ERA… ten strikeouts in 11.2 innings pitched.

FRESHMAN (2016): appeared in 17 games for Coach Josh Stewart, Austin Knight and Aaron Gilbreath at Northeast Texas Community College… had four starts… went 0-5 with an 8.17 ERA… fanned 39 batters in 37.2 innings pitched.

HIGH SCHOOL: played for Coach Anthony Scalise, Coach Jake Stewart, and Coach Brent Wuthrich and the Pearland Oilers… went 11-1 with six saves… 68 strikeouts in 60 innings pitched… 1^st Team All-District… 2^nd Team All Greater Houston Area… Region 3 Championship Game MVP.

PERSONAL: born Brendan Owens on February 6, 1997 in Pearland, Texas… son of Kim and Jack Owens… has one sister, Kaitlin (23) … majoring in Business Management with a target graduation date of May 2019… plans to coach college baseball or work in a major energy corporation.
