Brittingham Named RRAC Defensive Player of the Week

SHREVEPORT, La. – LSU Shreveport senior forward Hayden Brittingham has been named the Red River Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week for the dates of Nov. 3–9, after anchoring the Pilots' defense in a 73-72 nail-biter over Oklahoma City University.

Brittingham was a force on both ends of the floor, collecting nine rebounds—six on the defensive glass and three on offense—while adding 16 points, three assists, two steals, and three blocks in the Pilots' win. His defensive presence proved pivotal down the stretch, helping LSUS secure the one-point road victory.

Through the opening stretch of the season, Brittingham has been the heartbeat of the Pilots' defense, second on the team in rebounds (25), blocks (7), and steals (4) while ranking second in assists (7). His energy and versatility continue to set the tone for LSUS on both sides of the court as the Pilots build momentum early in the season.
