LSU Shreveport Men’s Soccer Ranked No. 15 in NAIA Top 25 Poll

SHREVEPORT, La. – The LSU Shreveport men's soccer team has earned national recognition, coming in at No. 15 in the latest NAIA Men's Soccer Coaches' Top 25 Poll released Wednesday. The Pilots received 224 points in the rankings.

LSUS holds a 0-0-3 record this season, with their most recent outing resulting in a 2-2 draw against non-conference opponent Southwestern Christian. Junior forward Jaime Zani, who was named the Red River Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week for August 25-31, provided the spark for the Pilots, netting both goals in the contest.

The Pilots will look to build momentum at home on Wednesday afternoon when they host Oklahoma Wesleyan in The Swamp. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m.
