LSU Shreveport’s Jack Thomas Named RRAC Offensive Player of the Week

SHREVEPORT, La. – LSU Shreveport senior midfielder Jack Thomas has been named the Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC) Offensive Player of the Week following his standout performance in the Pilots' first win of the 2025 season.

Thomas, a native of Whittington, England, played a pivotal role in LSUS's 3-1 victory over the University of Mobile (Ala.). He scored one goal and assisted on two others, creating consistent opportunities for his teammates and registering three total shots in the match.

The Pilots had opened the season with five consecutive ties before Thomas helped lead the way to their breakthrough win. 

LSUS will be back in action at The Swamp on Thursday, Sept. 25 as they host Texas A&M-Victoria to open RRAC play. Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m.
