Thomas' Scoring Surge Powers Pilots, Claims RRAC Weekly Honors

SHREVEPORT, La. – Senior midfielder Jack Thomas has been named the Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC) Offensive Player of the Week after leading the LSU Shreveport Pilots to two dominant victories.

Thomas sparked the LSUS attack with a goal in a 3-0 win over Our Lady of the Lake University (Texas) and followed with two goals and two assists in a 6-2 victory against Texas A&M University-San Antonio. His explosive week kept the Pilots' offense rolling and extended their winning streak to eight straight.

The senior now sits tied for third in the RRAC with 22 total points, continuing to prove himself as one of the league's top offensive threats.

LSUS, now 8-0-5 overall and 6-0 in conference play, returns to action on Thursday, Oct. 16, traveling to Hawkins, Texas, to face Jarvis Christian University. Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m.
