KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Jack Thomas scored seven goals in a pair of LSU Shreveport (La.) wins, but his two assists told a career story, last week, setting a new career record for the Pilots. Tuesday (Oct. 21), he was named NAIA Offensive Player of the Week.

Thomas has 20 career assists after last week's wins, a record previously set in 2022 by Gledi Doda.

The Pilots are 10-0-5 and 8-0 in the Red River Athletic Conference, beginning last week with a 5-0 win at Jarvis Christian (Texas). Thomas scored four of those five goals, including the game winner, taking six shots, five on goal.

Thomas followed Thursday's four-goal outing with a hat trick at Texas A&M Texarkana, recording a second game-winner in a 4-2 win that kept the Pilots in first place in the RRAC, two points in front of LSU Alexandria with three conference games to play.

LSUS meets LSUA Thursday afternoon at home, followed by a Saturday afternoon match with Xavier (La.).
