Zani, Liahagen-Kolnes Earn RRAC Weekly Honors

SHREVEPORT, La. — LSU Shreveport men's soccer standouts Jaime Zani and Sondre Liahagen-Kolnes have been named the Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC) Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week for the week of October 20–26, the league announced Tuesday.

Zani, a junior forward, played a key role in the Pilots' 4-0 victory over LSU Alexandria (La.), contributing two goals and one assist in the win. He also tallied three shots, including two on target. Zani continues to be one of the most dynamic offensive players in the conference, ranking tied for fourth in goals (11) and second in assists (9) this season.

On the defensive side, Liahagen-Kolnes, a junior goalkeeper, anchored the back line with four saves to help secure the clean sheet against LSUA. The Norway native has appeared in 14 matches this season, recording 22 saves while serving as the Pilots' steady presence in goal.

The Pilots return to action on Saturday, November 1, when they travel to Pineville, La., to take on Louisiana Christian University. Kickoff is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
