LSUS Guard Toni Coleman Named RRAC Offensive Player of the Week

Shreveport, La. — LSU Shreveport junior point guard Toni Coleman has been named the Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC) Women's Basketball Offensive Player of the Week for the dates of Nov. 17–23, following a standout performance that powered the Pilots to a conference-opening victory.

Coleman delivered a dominant offensive outing in LSUS' 70-62 win over Texas A&M–Texarkana, pouring in 26 points while shooting an efficient 6-of-8 from the field and 14-of-17 from the free-throw line. She added seven defensive rebounds, showcasing her ability to impact the game on both ends of the court.

Through the early part of the season, Coleman has established herself as one of the RRAC's top performers. She ranks second on the team and third in the conference with 94 total points, averaging 13.5 points per game. The junior guard also sits third on the team with 37 rebounds (5.3 per game) and leads LSUS in both steals (30) and assists (24), underscoring her all-around contributions.

The Pilots currently hold a 5-2 overall record and are 1-0 in conference play. LSUS will return to action on December 4, 2025, when they host Texas College at 5:30 p.m. in The Dock.
