Paula Gonzalez Herrero provided a scoring lift inside, while Ally Fleenor and Coleman turned steals into points as LSUS carried a 39-29 advantage into halftime.
Our Lady of the Lake opened the third quarter with a quick push, trimming the deficit, but the Pilots answered immediately. Sami Slusarek and Fleenor finished in the paint, and Markisic continued to attack off the dribble to restore separation. LSUS led 57-47 heading into the fourth.
The Pilots put the game away in the final period. Markisic scored early off a steal, Fleenor continued to disrupt passing lanes, and Katie Ambrose knocked down a three-pointer to push the lead to 20. LSU Shreveport maintained control the rest of the way.
