SHREVEPORT, La. – LSU Shreveport women's soccer continued its dominant Red River Athletic Conference run on Thursday afternoon, defeating Our Lady of the Lake University 4-1 in The Swamp. The victory pushes the Pilots to 6-5 overall and 5-0 in RRAC play, while the Saints fall to 5-4-2 and 2-2-1 in conference action.

LSUS wasted little time setting the tone, with Martina Bonilla breaking through in the 15th minute to open the scoring. Less than a minute later, Halee Hernandez doubled the lead off an assist from Jade Derks, giving the Pilots early control.

OLLU briefly closed the gap with a 17th-minute goal from Eleonora Diversi, but the Pilots' back line held firm for the remainder of the match. The Saints' misfortune deepened in the 74th minute when an own goal extended the LSUS lead to 3-1. Mada Uriarte sealed the win in the 80th minute, slotting home a setup from Ashley Moore to cap off a commanding performance.

Goalkeeper Elena Lopez anchored the Pilots' defense, going the full 90 minutes with one goal allowed and two saves.

OLLU's keeper rotation saw Salka Hrafns allow one goal in the opening 13 minutes before London Suarez took over, conceding three and making one save.

LSUS will look to keep its unbeaten conference streak alive when it returns to The Swamp on Saturday, October 11, to host Texas A&M–San Antonio at 1 p.m.
